娜塔莉波特曼在哈佛畢業(yè)演講

　　1. Sometimes your insecurities and inexperience may lead you to embrace other people’s expectations, standards and values, but you can harness that inexperience to carve out your own path.

　　有些時(shí)候，你的信心和經(jīng)驗(yàn)的缺乏會(huì)使你一味地迎合他人的期待、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和價(jià)值觀。但是你要從中找出一條屬于自己的道路。

　　2. Achievement is wonderful when you know why you are doing it, and when you don’t know, it can be a terrible trap.

　　當(dāng)你知道為什么而奮斗的時(shí)候，你所獲得的成就是一件美妙的事情;當(dāng)你不知道為什么而奮斗的時(shí)候，你所獲得的成就很可能是一個(gè)可怕的陷阱。

　　3. You have a prize now and the prize is a Harvard degree in your hand. But what is your reason behind it?

　　4. All the best restaurants in Tokyo are small and do only one type of dish: sushi, tempura or teriyaki, because they want to do that thing well and beautifully and it’s not about quantity. It’s about taking pleasure in the perfection and the beauty of the particular.

　　5. The only thing that separates you from others is your quirks or even your flaws.

　　你的缺點(diǎn)和不足是區(qū)別你和他人唯一的事物。

　　6. Your inexperience is an asset which allows you to think in original and unconventional ways.

　　缺乏經(jīng)驗(yàn)不是壞事，而是一種能讓你創(chuàng)新思維的正資產(chǎn)。

　　7. You don’t take for granted the way things are. The only way you know how to do things is your own way.

　　不要認(rèn)為現(xiàn)實(shí)就是理所應(yīng)當(dāng)，用自己的方式去做事才是正道。

　　8. Getting out of your own concerns and caring about someone else’s life for a while reminds you that you are not the center of the universe.

　　從自己的世界中走出來(lái)，花一些時(shí)間去關(guān)心他人的生活，這可以提醒你--你不是宇宙的中心。

　　9. The biggest asset that school offers you is a group of peers that will be both your family and your school for life.

　　學(xué)校可以給你提供的最大的財(cái)富就是一群伙伴。他們即可以成為你的家人，也可以成為你一生的學(xué)習(xí)對(duì)象。

　　10. To be or not to be is not the question. The vital question is how to be and how not to be.

　　生存還是毀滅，這不是一個(gè)問(wèn)題。最重要的問(wèn)題在于存在和毀滅的方式。
